Anyone fancy a V8 Frogeye?

I do like the fender flares.

I'd be surprised if it were street legal in Germany, if only because it has no windshield. Many countries will not allow such extensive modifications from stock configuration; this is a good thing to remember before, say, doing a disk brake conversion if there is a chance you might someday want to sell it overseas. In fact, I doubt it would be street legal in most US states.

I am a little skeptical of these cars with astronomical power-to-weight ratios. The trick isn't so much putting all that power in a Bugeye, it's getting it to the road. I could imagine the driver of that thing hitting the gas and generating a lot of blue smoke while the thing spins out of control.

I'll take the original, thank you.

That sounds kinda fun!

265/50 R-14 in the rear! That frog has some meat on it. sad to see it's an auto. it is still one heck of a hot rod.

It is a catch22. You need to narrow the foot wells to get the engine that low and far back so you don't have room for a clutch pedal, since you do not have room for a clutch pedal you have to use a big automatic transmission that takes up even more interior space.

What's so hard about it?

Funny how that thing keeps popping up. I think that is the picture I took.
