Anyone else going to the VTR S. Central Regional

I would if I were closer!

Don in Monroe? Paul Johnson in Dallas?

There will be a big Houston club contingent there, Tyler I think is a good venue choice. Unfortunately I'm traveling on business late that week and will miss it again.

Have other things that I have to do that time. Would like to come over for one day if I can.

I'm looking forward to it. It's the first one I've been to. BTW, what is a funkhana???

Re: Anyone else going to the VTR S. Central Region

The funkhana is a driving course that you and a passenger go through. I will have stops that the passenger has to do something and one the drive has to do. The fastest time is the winner. They can be fun. The last one I did I had my 10 year old grandson tell me how to drive becuase I was blind folded.

David-

Being in Longview, are you affiliated with any of the Texas clubs? I could see it would be tough to get to either Dallas or Houston meetings on a regular basis. I know in our Houston club we have a lot of nice TR6's, I'm sure if they haven't seen your injection setup you will get a lot of attention and questions.

I did recently join Red River Triumphs. I'll be sure to wear my BCF tee-shirt.

Re: Anyone else going to the VTR S. Central Region

I was hoping I could squeeze in a day or two there. -It's only 4 hours from here. But, my brake MC failed while enjoying the great weather Sunday. -And I don't have the new alternator installed... or the timing set. It looks like I need to spend a little time with the TR6.

-And I doubt I can get any time of work right now anyway.

When my brakes stopped working properly, I noticed how other drivers immediatly took advantage of it. Have you ever noticed that? As soon as you start driving a little more conservative, and safe, people start pulling out in front of you, cutting you off, and jamming on their brakes in front of you to turn. Almost makes me want to drive a bull-dozer.
