Anyone drive an LBC today?

Woke up this morning to an unusual treat for DC -- a crisp morning in September! So, while I planned to ride my bike to work this morning, I took the Healey. Lots of smiles and waves from people out and about. What a gorgeous day!

100-6 and Bugeye last night, and plan on the Bugeye again tonight, as soon as I get home from work (work in Gaithersburg, home to New Market, just a stone's throw north of you!)

Took my TR6 out this morning to get a coffee and run some errands. The weather here is also perfect for LBC's!
I had so much fun, I will probably take it out tomorrow

Can't go to far in the Alfa. The 6 Italian mechanics in the back up car cost too much to feed

~I'm~ th' backup mechanic in this case, Don. It's managed around 80K miles with no care other than a set of plugs and the odd oil change now and then.

Doc,

Driving an Alfa is a whole lot cooler
than driving a Dodge Dakota!Of course you can't
put 500' of 2-1/2 inch fire hose in the back of
an Alfa.
If I wasn't invovled with the local Fire Dept.,
I'd probably be looki'n for a cool European GT!Sometimes
you gotta do what you gotta do (Darn!).

I drive my Spit to work. Not many people get to see it as I work nightshift.

Drove the Europa to work again today - its my summer "commuter car". Although to be fair, my commute is only 7 miles each way on country roads (gotta watch out for deer though).

:thumbsup: Drove Agatha on Saturday, Sunday and yesterday. Saturday and Sunday - breakfast and coffee. Monday to mechanic to replace the speedometer cable and a general check-up. Not today - too much to drop-off and pick-up. Needed lots of room so used the SUV. Will probably not drive her again until Saturday - a Run to the Crest - driving to the top of the Sandia Mountains. Several of us going - all classic/collector cars. Run to the Crest to be followed by a caravan to our house for a cookout, awards, raffle and door prizes. An end-of-summer party. Wheeeeee (lol)
