Cheap OEM Their prices fall into the range of "To good to be true" It seems to be a legitimate site at checkout where the address is: https://secure.soft-transaction.com

Red Flags:
1) Well, the price for one.
2) I've never heard of an OEM for Photoshop or Solidworks
3) Also
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:]The OEM Software:

1. Is downloadable software;
2. May comes with:
- Additional (included with the package) <span style="font-weight: bold">serial code generators</span>, or
- <span style="font-weight: bold">Additional EXE file substitues</span> (included with the package), or
- No additional tools; the software is simply installed and run.[/QUOTE]
What do ya'll think?

Doesn't sound legit to me. Even OEM software (think of the Nero bundled with DVD burners) has it's own unique registration number. If you have to use a keygen to generate a key, it's probably not legit. Also, if you have to swap an .exe file (read "cracked") it's not legit. These are both things done by crackers/hackers.

Knowing some of how the SolidWorks distributorship network is set up I highly doubt they are legit. But you can check directly with SolidWorks to find out.

I don't remember what a fresh seat of SolidWorks costs but I do know the annual update is about $1,500. I also have a seat of Mastercam which is a little more, the level I have is about $20,000 for a fresh seat and about $2,000 for the annual update. Bootleggers not only add to the cost of the software but are an unfair competition to guys like myself. Not only does the company keep an eye on companies that might be selling illegal copies but guys like me report them also.

Too Cheap. Autocad for $75.00? I bought Autocad LT (light) 2007 and it was over $500. Full Autocad 3 or 4 times that, at least.

Baaad juju!!

RUN!!!

You might need a long syringe loaded with some Atropine to inject your computer after downloading this stuff....

Be afraid, be VERY afraid! Their domain is registered through "Go Daddy" with no real contact info. When I pinged their domain, it returns IP: 93.84.112.110, which is in Belarus! Good luck resolving any issues. I would not touch this biz with a 10 foot pole! And I certainly would NOT give them my credit card info!

The kid next door got Photoshop from these clowns It is NOT an Adobe Laget site it did not not down load complete it is smaller then the disk boxed store version and it never worked. A splash screen pops up and there is a warning that a ...?DLL could not be found and reloading the program may fix the problem pretty tuff when its a run from only load. Can I get you some caviar or maybe a weekend on the black sea at a dasha with that? My brother he has a good deal on a rolex?

Really bad news. Probably virus laden and even worse once they get a payment on your credit card.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I didn't purchase anything from them. Seemed too hinky to dive in with both feet. I was looking for a program called Amplitube 2 and that site was one of the first pings from Google.
