Know this property in the Charleston area.

LINK

Hopefully the link works

What I like most is pic # 24

I think that's an RX7.

My thought too.
I like the garage and the property is nice

Anybody know how far from the Boeing plant in driving time?

Hey bosss, 15 miles here could be 50 minutes.
Anybody know how that correlates to SC time?

According to map quest its a 26 minute drive. No sure what all they take into account, but guessing speed limits on the various roads is a factor. Not sure if it takes traffic conditions into account.

Mostly concerned with the rush hour stuff
For my wife.
As it is now, it takes 1 1/2 hour to do the 30 mile drive home

That wouldn't be an issue in Charleston, methinks.

Ya think it's big enough??? :jester:

If I were you, I wouldn't look at anything under 10,000 sqft.

That house here would be about maybe $300K.

Kind of like the two garages in page 23 too

That's about 10 minutes up the road from me. Nice development, nice place! It's about 30 mins from the Boeing plant. Rush hour commute won't be bad once they finish the construction to widen the road. Probably nowhere near as nice as BillM's new pad. It think it's a little over priced. Market here is stale. You could probably offer a lot less and they'll jump all over it.

Looks like Mt Pleasant area.
Son wants to go to Wando HS for his last year

Don,

I envy you - I'd be looking at houses in the $100,000 range.

- Doug

That price is reflective of the Charleston area. Traffic is a little heavy in Charleston at quitting time, but no where near what more Northern cities are. The outskirts of Charleston isn't bad at all, traffic is a little heaver during tourist season, but not something to be that concerned with. We've done a couple car shows in Charleston and getting around the city is a no brainer. I might add, it's a beautiful and very historical city. Historical waterfront properties run in the 7 figure bracket! (STILL)! PJ

Don't think the city would work for me .Hard to find that over sized 3 car with height for a lift

Doug, I was very fortunate in my house buying life.
I moved to Seattle when houses, and land, where dirt cheap. Long before the Southern Californians and Micro Squishers changed the look of this city.
I bought my first house at 50G's and the next 2 never more of a loan than 150 Large.
So I am a very lucky man.
When I moved here I thought the same as you as a lot of the guys I worked with who were natives already had 2 homes.

Look up Doug, you have a house ,a good wife and kids who love you.

And hopefully ,the new house will have a second master for friends, like you all, and family to use for visits
