i have a shortblock assembly that came with my project i'll give away if anyone wants it. the serial # is TCF1844E which i "think" is for a tr3b. i'm in the process of sifting thru the rubble after the fire last week & am running out of space to store things. i thought this might be a good thing to 'donate" to someone's project or spare parts pile. right now, with the current mess i'm dealing with, i don't have time to crate or ship & i cant store it long, so if someone local wants it or can pick it up & store it for someone who does, it's yours.

I wish I had the truck to drive down and pick it up! I'd love to have the road draft tube and the timing chain cover off of it.

I suggest you also post this offer to the Team.Net Triumphs list (I'd be happy to do it for you if you like; just PM me with contact info, etc.) and perhaps to the VTR Classifieds. The opportunity for someone to obtain a correct later series TR3B 2.2l block certainly doesn't present itself very often!

I'm in the same boat - would love to take it but from Houston you are just a little too far outside my range.

I may have a tube and timing cover at the shop. I'll look when I get in Monday morning.
