Just finished it for Jack and sending it off today (sans Pub!). Couldn't resist showing off!!

How do you make those?

modelling clay, a magnifier, a couple of tools, itty-bitty fine brushes & patience! Should really be putting time into the real one but less scraped knuckles working on one of these!

Neat!

I'm duly impressed. Lots of talented, creative folks around here. Nice work.

Generally, these (see attachment) are close to "N" guage, though this one is larger (approx. 1" long) and was a gift made to be a key-chain ornament for Miss Agatha (see jlaird posts in the Spridget forum). These are not "scale models", but rather miniature impressions of a particular vehicle. The Pub is actually a piece numbered #41 from Artware Studios in Congleton, England that just looked right with the car! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
PS those are "hot wheels" in the background just for a sense of scale!

Blame Hot Wheels!! I found it at a jumble sale and didn't have a big Healey among my "toys", so I bought it. Other than that horrible blower though it is a nice casting! I was trying to attach a picture of some of the tiny road racer I have built, but the files were too large to post. Will have to modify... stay tuned! There, got it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif" alt="" />
PS these show wear because they were actually used as playing pieces for a racing board-game and actually have a couple of 24hour marathons under their belts!!
