anybody see this on ebay?

I saw that and wondered if the guy was just fishing for a price.

I thought the same, Trevor! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif Nicely done though, isn't it! Never seen a BE painted that color! Not original, but I like it! I wonder what the reserve on it is?

My guess is the car will sell for about 14K. Any other guesses?

I think it should be about 16K. That looks like a preaty nice example. Not all orginal but very close and certinaly acceptable to my eyes.

My guess is that the reserve is high and the bids won't met the reserve.

How do you know it isn't a disc brake MC?

Really? Anybody have any picture examples? I always thought that they looked the same. I guess I'm not observant enough.

Very nice.... $8,100 with a fair number of bids and 8 days to go....

BE looks great. BE with minilites... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif
Came accross a Bugeye yesterday at a (small) Brit Car Show that was lavender, a good looking colour, not my cjoice, but it looked good.

I may be mistaken, but from what I've seen the later disk brake units have a raised, cast top.

I don't know about that! I thought the cast, raised top MCs originally came on the MGA! The difference, as I understand it, between the drum and disc MCs is the bore size (3/4" vs 7/8")! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif
