Anybody live in the Denver Colorado area.

Absolutely DO IT. It's on my list of places I would like to live. Tons of stuff to do out there all year round and the scenery is great. Plus Denver is within 600 miles of the very best parts of north america if you love the outdoors.

Denver, Bolder, Golden.....just awesome area. My wife and I took a road/camping trip many years ago. We both interviewed for jobs during our camping trip we liked it so much there. No jobs so no move but great country none the less!!

Okay, seriously. Colorado has just about a little of everything except a body of salt water and low altitudes. We have plenty of high altitude driving though. You will notice a loss in horsepower just as you'll notice a loss in your own power/energy until you get used to the altitude. With a little retuning your car will get some of that lost power back as well. There are quite a few active clubs in the area and a very large British car show in the fall. You won't see many out as daily drivers anymore but there are still a lot used as pleasure drivers.

Don't let the threat of winter scare you away either. The mountains will get hammered with snow but the "Front Range" (Eastern slope of the Rockies) usually has mild winters. We do get the occasional stinkers and if you hear the weather forecasters predicting an "upslope condition" to an incoming storm then you better prepare to be inconvenienced by Mother Nature because she is about to unleash some fury. This summer has ben VERY wet by Colorado standards though and so far the thinking is that we could be in for a wet winter as well. SO this winter could be rough.

I've been to all 50 states and 8 foreign countries. I love coming back to Colorado. I was drug to several John Denver concerts when I was a wee lad but a lot of his songs about Colorado and the Rockies really sum the state up well.

I guess I should be sending in my resume to the Colorado Board of Tourism now huh?
