Anybody know this car ?

I don't know the car, but I'm not seeing any S mods other than cosmetic. Even has drum brakes still. IMHO price seems way too high.

When I first looked at this add I saw $8ooo, not $80,000. I thought that was not too bad, a bit less than I paid for my basket case BN2 with a spare engine. Then I blinked and saw the extra zero. From the photos, of course you can't tell the status of rust, etc. or how it has been or not been run. The mention of the "S" designation is sort of a red herring in that it really falls into the catagory of big Healeys that have been modified with V8 engnes and the like. Not that there is anything wrong with that. But to put a price on it that is in line with top concourse quality BN-2's that are stock, is a longshot. As long as someone knows what they're getting, good luck to the seller. I believe the 60's saying was "different strokes for different folks". Does putting one of those Rolls Royce noses on a VW bug really make it worth someting in-between a VW bug and a Rolls?

I agree, I also thought 8,000 when I first saw it. Why is it BN1s and 2 fall victim to Gerore Barris wanna- bes. This is the 4th 100 currently for sale thats been bastardized.
