TR3, 4 or early 6? I'm assuming you mean 6. The really early TR2s diden't have a cowel vent. I'm thinkinh the TR4-6 vent mechanisms are all the same untill the 6s changed over to the plastic vent grille.
Also, do you mean the lever on the dash (if it's a 6) or the piece under the vent door in the cowel?

Dee En Kay! I have in my hand every part in the above photo. The lever, the pin, the anti-rattle spring, the spring clip ( I think it could be reused) and even the plastic knob with it's set screw.
I even have the little collar with the jamb nut that holds the end of the rod and the nut moves
Now, this unit is off a 66 TR4A. It has a 90 degree bend on the end with the knob. If it's the same between TR4A and TR6 then you're gold.
