Anybody going to the car show in Dillard, GA?

I am not planning on staying the night. Just show up saturday morning and then leave saturday evening. I am familiar with the roads all the way to Highlands, NC and then it only 20 miles to dillard. 75 miles is close enough for a day trip.

Looks like we're going to have great weather up there. Mostly sunny with a high of 73 degrees. No rain forecast...so far.

Whew, back home again. Car ran good until I go to Dillard and then started bucking and acting up. I decided to install the new coil that I bought and see if that fixed the problem it didn't. Car quit on me and I put on a new condenser and dropped the little screw in the grass doing than and had to rob a screw from my stereo amp to get the new condenser installed. Long time on the roadside. Went back to the show and just parked and looked. Lots of cool cars there and I met some very nice people. On the trip home the car acted up again but this time I noticed that the points had closed up. I regapped them and it ran like a charm. this might have been my whole problem all along. I didn't look at that before because the points were not on a lobe of the cam in there. This time it was right on the lobe and there was no gap. Still, I made it home fine and Dillard seems to be a wonderful place. Hope to go there again. Met Ray again and hope to see him and many others at the show in greer at the BMW plant.

Hay, I told you guys about points closeing last week, hehe. Didn't beleive me?

Really makes you feel stupid.

Always good to have a few screws, nuts and bolts in your magic trick bag for trips.
