TR2/3/3A Anybody for a TR3.....

IF, and it's a very BIG if, all the pieces are there, not a bad deal for someone...

I might be mistaken, but I think that IS the car "for restoration". Taking the "parts" body off it's frame but leaving the dash and gauges just doesn't make sense to me.

I'm also not sure if there is a parts car, or that the car, with parts. In any case, I'd be curious and perhaps foolishly interested. Not if that is indeed the car. But if that's the parts car, and the main car is better.

I think Randall is right and that is the body for the restoration.

I think you guys are boing too picky - a lot of TR3s look just like that when you take them apart! With floorboards semi-intact, and it looks like the fenders prepped, a running engine, and a straight frame - I think thats a pretty good asking price.

:iagree:

Again, VERY good, if it's all there.

With the frame done, the engine running and the rear end rebuilt I call it an great starting point for negotiation and full restoration. FWIW

I have restored worse but I'm with Randall, why leave the gauges and dash intact to be in the weather. If it were closer, I'd go look and probably buy.

It appears that there is a tarp to cover that body outside, and leaving the dashboard intact and on the body does mean one less unit to get lost or damaged until it's time to deal with it!

Looks like a Fred Flintstone car to me with the two 55 gallon drums for wheels. Plus Wilma's added touch with the flowers coming up thru the floor. I used to live in the Ohio area, and have seen many cars that have been sitting in fields with tarps over them. They are not in very good shape most of the time. Still the price is not to high.
