Any TVR owners here?

...look for the Quebec license plate!...

Will do!

Hello Gilles, you own a gorgeous car! I've always been a TVR fan, and hopefully I will own one in the future. I don't know what you actually paid, but it was a good deal regardless as we never officially got any post-Wedge TVR, as far as I know anyways!

Please take good care of it, but also drive it like a TVR should be driven! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

SlickDizzy: We didn't here in the US, but TVRNA did up in Canada, all the way up to the early Griffiths.

Seriously? I thought even the Canadians were shut out after the wedges. Good to know though!

Hello Giles,
Not an owner but have a good friend with a beautiful 2500M here in Michigan and we hang out a lot together. We have about 8 - 10 in the Detroit metro area, see them at shows from time to time.

Welcome to the forum.

Hey RG,
Get your friend to join BCF! So far from this post I count 5 TVR owers here. If we can get a few more, maybe I could justify a new forum for TVRs! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Hey Basil,
Great idea!

RG, I will be at the British Marques in the Park event in Windsor on June 25. I hope to see a few of your TVR friends there!

Hey Gilles, sorry to be late chiming in. Welcome to the British Car Forum. I hadn't checked in in a while. I've had my Taimar in the shop this week and hope to get it back in another day or two. Looking forward to some extended seat time in it and, with any luck, a little warmup in the weather to go along with it.
I look forward to seeing you at Bronte in September.

Hey Marshall, nice to hear from you again
I laughed so loud at your protestant joke on UTVROG. When I read the mistake that Dave made I was tempted to tease him about it too and ask him if he had a catholic converter on his S2.
I look forward to meeting you in Bronte too!
Gilles

Hello , just browsing. I have a 3000M here in Lismore N.S.W. Australia Chassis No 3528 FM .TVR,s of any type are rare in Australia, there are believed to be less than 40 "old TVR.s" here and less than 10 3000M.s There are of course some late models here.
Regards Flywheel AU

Hi Flywheel,
Nice place Australia. I was there 5 yrs ago in Sydney for Olympic games. I drove north as far as Port Macquarie.
Old TVR models seem rare there just like here in North America where they stopped importing them in early 90's.
You however have the chance to see the new models on your roads from time to time which is almost non-existent here in Canada or US.
Show us a picture of your 3000M

Gilles
