Those are the the ones I have in my avatar and plan on using on my bugeye. I'm not sure how "wide whites" would look on a later car. If you want white walls I would suggest a skinnier one than these.

Mine derubbered and I thought they would look nice on wire's- better suited for a vintage chrome bumper car. I really couldn't see using whitewalls on rubber bumper car as I believe it just wouldn't look right. Perhaps someone can prove me wrong and to each his/her own.
