Any one know what "Big Fix" is on the computer?

I have an emachines desktop I bought last year. Something called BIG FIX has attached itself to the lower right ( near the time) on my vista screen. it constantly flashes. When you click on it it says it is gathering fixlets, yet nothing shows up. Occasionally a balloon shows up that says "big fix needs your attention". Now it says that big fix wants me to suscribe as free version has expired? It never seemed to do anything anyway. It is not listed anywhere in my programs listing. What is this and how do I get rid of it?

Hi Yeah it is just an unsolicited program to fix computer problems. If it is not in your New programs added file it was not saved to your computer. Want more info Google it.---Fwiw--Keoke

Hi Roof,
If it is a program (as opposed to a browser add-on) you can probably uninstall it from the Add/Remove programs in control panel.

Thanks Keoke and GregW, found it and deleted it.

More unsolicited goofware. Find/download/install and run "Malwarebytes".

Pay attention to the spelling when Googling it.

It came with my new Gateway laptop. I never looked at what it would do. When I started get the notice and saw what it was I uninstalled the program.
