TR6 Any good examples of custom grill inserts?

I am currently restoring the grill in my '71 TR6. I'm not real fond of the aluminum grate. It looks more architectural than automotive. I'm thinking of fabricating a wire mesh insert. Does anyone have any photos of nice looking custom grills? I like the one I installed on my Mini.
