Re: Any axle/cv joint up-dates??
I stepped up and bought a set from Kevin as well. Absolute masterpiece in fit and finish. I have the Infiniti R200 diff installed to match up the proper ratio with the M3 Engine/Trans and he machined the part to fit perfectly. The hubs bolted right up as well. Installation was simple but they do not split in the middle and the axles mounting flange is too large to pass through the bore of the trailing arm. Granted, my tub is still at the painter and I had plenty of clearance to unhook the shock, remove the spring and pivot the trailing arm up to garner the required clearance to slide it in. If my exhaust wasn't already fitted, the trailing arms could have pivoted down as well to slip it in. The only tweaking needed was to grind away some of the casting slag and mold release marks inside the bore of the trailing arm. These are a tight fit. In any case, installation is about as straight forward as you can imagine. He even added a notch in the hub faying surface to allow the installation of my longer ARP wheel studs. Absolute prince of a guy.
It will still be awhile before I have any road test results to post but all looks as it will be positive. In reality, the cost was not all that much more than overhauling the existing set-up and it's very soothing to know that the last weak link of my TR6 will handle my HP requirements.
