"ANTIQUE"???!!!!!

Re: "ANTIQUE"???!!!!!

I would like to see some younger member's that are starting out to enjoy old motor cars. That is the reason that I allow under 16's free at my show.

No kidding. I know ONE Morgan US Morgan owner under the age of 60. Not much hope for the future of the club (or my shop)

I love Morgans, and would love to have one -- but they are out of my price range (one of the reasons I own a Sprite is that they are inexpensive). I think that cost is a part of the age equation. If I didn't have a second job as a musician, I couldn't afford even the Sprite at this point in my life. A fun-only third car is a tough financial call to make even at my age, and I don't have kids.

For most folks, classic sports cars are a bit of a retirement thing, or at least a wait until the kids are out of college thing.

That's kinda what happened here. We lost our client base thru "attrition".
