We spent 5 days in Antigua with 25 family and friends for a family event.
Antigua is an old Brit colony that got independence in '81 and combined with neighboring Barbuda to form a small island country in the West Indies.
It's near Montserrat and St. Martens
Not exactly a ton of neat cars in Antigua, but some worth noting.
We saw an old Bedford dump truck that looked a lot like a 50s Dodge but with rhd. It was moving, but in a dreadful state.
Also a modern "Leyland" truck.
There seems to be no road inspection in Antigua. Road signs say "20" or "40" but the Hertz rental car folks didn't know if it was in MPH or KPH. No one seems to pay much attention to speeds or normal passing rules.
There are no shoulders on the roads and people just stop and park in the middle of a road if they are visiting someone.
I saw a Honda S2000 (lhd) and a Pontiac Trans-Am FIrebird. A fair amount of "ricers" like Mitsu EVOs and Subie WRXs.
Almost all big trucks (tractor trailers and larger dump trucks) are US imports and have the steering on the "wrong" side. This makes it real tough for truck drivers on the narrow roads.....I gave them a lot of space.

The guy next to me (below) pulled up drinking beer. You can see the Heiny he left on the console
This cow (below) wandered across the street in front of us. People hit cows all the time (according to the local paper). They were all over the place. Some were tethered with chains but this one broke free (like many of them). There were hundered of random, unsupervised goats wandering free too. Plus chickens and a few donkeys. Some people rode the donkeys.
