Another wiring question

All-

Thanks for all of your replies. It is a TR6, and I don't remember which month it was built (April??), so it could have some of those 72 features on the dash as you mentioned.

I replaced the carpet last year and didn't see any wires. And the hole in the dash could be used for something cooler, such as another switch, (or even my IPOD), but, the wire connector taps sounds like a quick and dirty solution for now. As much fun as it is to play with the wires in the dash (I find it strangely therapudic), it is SO MUCH more fun to drive around in this nice New England spring weather. I was out this morning dropping kids off to school, and I was having way too much fun.

Got this to work last night. The wire taps were a great idea, so thanks for that! Just tapped the FASTEN BELTS into the ignition indicator, so that the light will come up when I start up the car. Works great and looks sharp. I hooked up the two taps in parallel.

My car was built in APRIL 1971, according to the tag.

Again, thanks to all who helped. Oh, it is the little things!
