Another TR on Ebay

She seems pretty solid. I've seen, realtively speaking, a lot of TR4s for sale recently. I wonder if the one that sold in AZ for $97k is bringing them out of hiding.

I'd suggest that with big Healey prices through the roof the 4's are about the best substitute out there....

Went to a car show a couple of months ago at the Lowes Motor Speedway (charlotte,NC) and there was a guy that restores cars for top dollars. He had restored a TR4 recently to the tune of 90K+ for some guy locally. The car was a barn car and was a mess (pictures) that needed way too much work. It was restored and then auctioned for about 97K to a person who lives in NY. The car was very nice but 90K plus for that kind of car you have to be nuts. Maybe a Jaguar but not a TR.

Its at $6150 with less than an hour to go....

Seems to be something of a bargain (by UK standards)... but I wonder if there'll be a last minute rush?

Hmmm 8 min. still at $6150 (reserve not met) that's a tough crowd. that car could easily go for double that

It didn't go-- I don't blame the guy for keeping a reserve at least above $6250--the final bid. Wonder what the reserve was, tho..
