JP...I intentionally capitalized the meter part just for you :smile:.

We aren't sure that our new/used speedometer is accurate and don't really know how to check it without a stop watch which we don't have. Soooo...what does your MGB indicate at level cruise 4th gear at 3000rpm? I know all of the variables (tire size, etc,etc) but maybe this will give me an idea. Thanks.

do you have or can you borrow a GPS - mine lists speed in the corner.
 
Follow another car with a good speedometer. Just did that today to get the BugEye tach marked.
