Another rant over "the usual suspects!"

Amen!

Some more of my two cents worth, We buy products that when produced here in the U.S., have a U.S.A. flag or stamping stating it was made in the U.S.A. I've bought products from England with a minature union jack on it, clearly showing it was made in the UK. I know it would cost parts dealers a slightly higher advertising fee, but where an item was manufactured should be in thier catalog. We buy items here in stores that are made in China and most items have a sticker on them stating that. There we have the right to choose. We buy parts from a catalog and haven't a clue what were going to get untill we open up the package and either smile or throw up with disgust. Way back I ordered felt door seal from Vic. Brit. It was absolute junk, from, where ever. Sent it back. Ordered the same item from Moss and it was of a very high quality and extremely close to the original. So, you never know who to buy a part from. I now ask, when ordering, where a part was made, not that it does much good if no one else makes it, but it gives me a choice to rebuild an old part, if rebuildable, or go with the new. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nopity.gif PJ
