Its about the route of the wiring harness. The back part of the harness comes up on the right side and joins the front part of the harness. My question is ,does the wire run in behind the inerior panel on the right side or does it go through the frame and come back out under the dash. I have been looking at some pictures and I can't quite see where the wires would go. If it is under the panel, then it would be one heck of a lump behind it.

Never mind, I found out what I needed by looking through some picures on the internet. The back wiring harness just goes behind the panel and not in and out of the metal. I saw one picture earlier where it went into the metal at the bottom and then back out up under the dash. I know mine goes on the outside because I found the clip that holds the wires. Mine is a 71, perhaps they went through the metal on later models.

You got it, out side the metal and that clip is there for a reason.
