MGB Another question - this time on seatbelts....

....does anyone sell the old-style replacement seatbelts that clip onto the rear deck. I always preferred those over the later style retractables because they went straight back instead of pulling down on your shoulder to reach the floor behind the seat. Unclipping them to put the top up and down never bothered me. There is a set listed in the Victoria British catalog that might be what I'm looking for (but the pictures aren't really all that informative), and unfortunately Moss's online catalog relies on cross site scripting which doesn't work for me. My original 1970 ones are pretty badly deteriorated and I wouldn't actually trust them to provide any meaningful restraint in an emergency.

Go to this site, they restore seat belts among other things. I wouldn't trust an old set, even if they have been in a box this many years! Their in Tyler Texas. PJ

Ahh Tyler is not all that far away - that could be a quick couple hour trip to take them up there in person and see if they can do anything useful with what I have left or not....
