The 69 Sprite project I have been working on has seen the road today for the first time since 1977.
I did some rust repairs, all new hydraulics, front end, exhaust, and interior. I did not remove the engine or trans and they seem perfect, just a slight valve tap which I will fix
when I replace the valve cover with a powder coated cover.
Everything works.
This car was really an 8 year old car that was parked in a garage for the past 32 years. From where the rust was inside the wheel wells, and the snow tires that came on the car, I am guessing it was a salt beater back in it's day.
Now it's a nice stock British Racing Green Sprite that drives like new.
This is the 4th completed Sprite to drive out of my garage since
November.
The Holy Sprite
Daughter's Lady Bug
Friend's bugeye racer
And now the 69.
How many more can I do before November comes around?
And my son just told me about a Morris minor or mini woody for sale locally. hmmmm.

woo hoo - time for pics - and a sedative

Amazing!

I'm not sure how you find the time.
I need to retire!

Fantastic... I'm in awe.

If you've got a weekend free, come on out to Utah and give me a hand. Probably only take an hour or so for you.
