Here's one shot. I'm working on another set of flames and smoke for it now. (keep in mind, they're cast, not sheet stock but it's hard to tell in pics) Will posts pics of those and I need to know which ones you guys like best. Gotta have it done by 3 pm today for pics. (Yes, I did the pot too.)
Very cool! make 2 more and call it good. Could you use a torch to add some color to the "flame"? some of that blue and purple you get from the heat, or would that not fit your vision, or just melt the cast... Just a thought.
No Ben, It'll just melt it, but feel free to try it. Besides, there's a kid down here doing cnc stainless stuff who does that (and that's about it). Here's the other set
OK. it was just a thought. I think those are really cool. I'm glad you've found such a neat creative outlet. You've got some really cool vision to come up with those ideas. Keep 'em coming.
I decided on the set to the left. I got a really good response on both pieces today when ol' girl came to take pics. She once worked with the entity that's putting on the show and sees everyhting that comes though. She really liked the boat. Here's to hopin for 1st place, a purchase award and cover piece for the invitation. (Na, I don't ask for much. :laugh
