Hi all,
Always nice to find other LBC enthusiasts. I'm on my second MGB. The first was a '75B roadster. Had a lot of money and time and money into it with hopes of racing it. Got tired of the electrical issues. Fast forward 20+ years and I found a '77 with some issues but running. Got about 2 years before it too decided to spark and smoke from just about everywhere. It sat for two years and last year I decided to yank all of the wires out. Well, wires are still laid out in the shop but now the motor and trans will be removed tomorrow with any luck. I figured since 2nd synchro was out and I have a need for a new clutch I might as well bite the bullet. With that said, I have gutted the interior as well. Once the engine and trans are out I am going to start prepping for a paint job. Still deciding on engine rebuild. The engine ran smooth and had good compression, but...

Anyway, looking forward to reading other peoples adventures in LBC world.

sounds like quite a project - welcome and we love pictures

You found a 77 MGB with "some issues"? Only some? LOL Seriously, welcome to BCF!

Here are some images that go back about a year or so. The last 3 are from yesterday and today. I'll try to find images from when I first brought her home. She was clean and shiny on the outside but kind of ugly duckling on the inside.

looks awesome - and love the carpet!

The carpet was the previous owners way to dampen the sound and cool the inside. I would have suffered.

Welcome to the British Car Forum. I also grew up in the Bronx (when the Indians were still there).
Looks like you are on the way to having a fun car to drive up the Grand Concourse :D
Be sure to check out the MG section whenever you need any assistance.
