I was working in a camera store in Fresno CA about 15 or 16 years ago. I looked up from the counter and this black guy walks in with a very distinctive hat and glasses and comes over to the camera departent - yep, it was Bo!!! I couldn't believe my eyes for a moment. He was looking for a somewhat arcane piece of camera equipment which I thought the stupid store I worked in then would not have. I searched for 15 to 20 minutes anyway. All the other "sales" people thought I had lost my mind and was wasting my time waiting on a "stroker" (someone who takes your time but has no intention of buying). Anyway, I ended up caling another camera store (a real one) and they had what he was looking for. I told him where the item was, it was on the counter for him and to ask for Jim when he went in. He was with another guy, believe he was the club manager where Bo was playing that night, and he knew right where that store was and would take him over there. Bo made my decade when he thanked me for my for my efforts and said I was "one cool cat". Simply priceless. Wish I would have ran next door to Tower Records, bought his CD and had him sign but didn't want to keep him waiting. Great guy, great memory.
