Another one followed me home

I bought a 62, titled as 63 International C110 pickup yesterday. Sadly, this one has some rust issues in the front fenders, lower grill surround, cab corners, floorboards, and passenger rocker. Some rust is typical in this body style but this one is worse than normal in my opinion. Luckily, most of the rust will be easy to cut out and repair. The only parts that will be difficult will be the fenders, and I happen to possess a pair in my parts stash. The lights also don't work on it, but the wiring is pretty simple in these so I imagine I'll have that sorted quickly enough. The good about this pickup: it runs like a sewing machine, with virtually no blow by; has a new set of tires; has not one, but two good sets of hubcaps; and the interior is clean, I mean check out that seat.

Walter, your getting quite a collection, nice! It's been so long since I've seen one up close, do they have a Continental engine?

Nice!! Will you "preserve" the patina (with a clear topcoat), leave it be, or work towards shiny paint?

(I like the patina - but appreciate rust never sleeps...)

Paul, all three have IH engines. The K has the venerable 214 Green Diamond, the L the advanced (i.e. overhead valve) 220 Silver Diamond, and the C has the 266 V8.

Mike, I like the look of the blue one enough, but the new fenders I have for it won't match. I will likely shoot them the same color before putting them on. If the look is too jarring, I will paint the whole thing, if it blends well enough, I'll probably leave the rest.
