Another New One!!

Without a picture posted here, the hat was BLUE!!! For those who don't understand the controversy, a vendor at MG2003 in St. Louis gave out free hats to the first some-odd number of folks to register. I proudly wore my new BLUE hat for the first day and a half, 'til Chuck saw it and said something about being a brave man to wear a purple hat around all these guys. I think he was just jealous 'cuz he didn't get one. However, being chronically color-blind, and not one to take a lot of chances, I did give the hat to my 77-year-old mother when she flew in the next day, figuring no one would mess with her!!

Well, Ken, load her up in your MG & bring her to Memphis next Friday so we can see the hat & enjoy the company of a lady who's not afraid to wear it...chuck said it was purple so its purple!

Kens mother is a sweetheart and has been to a lot of the MG meets!! She is going next year, but would not commit to 2005 in Seattle!! I am sure I will make it there!!

Well, without admitting 'anything', if it WAS purple, the folks in St. Louis should be chastized for taking advantage of color-blind people!! I distictly remember the guy at the registration desk asking if I wanted a 'BLUE' or a 'tan' hat!!

Hey, Ken...no bigee...someday chuck's gonna post those photos of me in my Stuart Little costume or the ones he doctored so I have pink hair....no bigee!
