Hello fellow forum members! Although I am new tothis forum I am not new to owning a British car. I own a 1973 TR6that I bought as my first car in high school. I drove it throughouthigh school and well into college but then the car failed NJ emissions…..rememberthose fun times. I moved the car into the garage to rebuild the carburetorsand do some other maintenance and then life took over.
Fast forward 30 years with a car in pieces and the resolveto get it back on the road. I decided todo a full rebuild of the car from the frame up so that’s where I stand. The frame is stripped, cleaned, repaired and justabout ready for powder coat. Front suspension components have been cleaned, powder coated and I am now getting ready to tackle the steering and then moveonto the rear components. Tackling theengine and body will then be next on the list.
I'm on some of the other forums that cater to BritishCars so I have access to resources and tidbits of information that don’t come acrossin any of the books. I will provideupdates as I complete major stages…the first being after the frame is out of powdercoat and sitting back on its suspension…..
Take care for now!
