Hello All,

Long time lurker while the car languished. I have owned a 1959 Sprite (AN5L/10918) since July, 1985. Due to an increased work load, physical maladies and injuries, and more work load, I haven't found the time to work on the car. It was somewhat driveable, but, I probably put less than a couple hundred miles on the car and all of those would have been before 1990. So it sat in the garage all these years.

Now I am retired and in no shape to "play" with the car as I was ~30 years ago. But, that is not going to stop me from having some fun with it now. I'm in the process of evaluating its condition so that I can get a good idea of the amount of work somebody else will have to do.

I look forward to getting some information from this site as well as contributing any of my very limited knowledge. I will post some photos of the evaluation sometime in the coming weeks.

Lots of Bugeye folks to tap here.
Welcome.

Hi Dan,

"Welcome" to "THEE" best LBC site anywhere but you already know that.

"Retirement" is a great time in life. You get to do "Whatever" you like to do; "Whenever" you like to do it!!

Introduce Yourself & Your Bugeye (I like "Frogeye" having owned a `59) to the "Spridget" Forum; If you have`nt as of yet. You`ll get all sorts of assistance there in your ventures of re-building / restoring your car.

Have Fun,

Russ
