My Dad called me today, he was in a shop, they had a '75 on consignment. It starts and runs, all hydraulics are shot (no brakes no clutch) all good glass, good top, no rust showing (but some hiding) my cousin works there and he has had it on the hoist and says it's solid underneath. Carpet is shot driver's seat has a tear in a seam, about 1.5' long. Here's the kicker: $500-$700, somewhere in there.
How can you pass that up? I'm investigating. Cousin said they drove it in and it shifted and all gears worked but the slave leaked out while it's been sitting there (almost a year).
It's that mustardy color, black interior.....I'm falling for it.

I don't know! I should leave it alone, but I'm very tempted to make it roadworthy and flip it.

That is what I said a month ago. Now I am well into a ground up restoration. Just came in from the shop after removing a few more pieces so I can do a "little" better job. Going to remove a few more before the assembly starts on the front suspension, brakes, and steering.

The one I have in mind is in a lot better shape than that '74, yes I know it's not a RWA chrome bumper but it's $600ish and it doesn't NEED body and paint and for probably $150 worth of parts it would a nice driver. But then what would I do with it it? I hate to say but if I had 900 or so into it, I might have to fight to get $1200 for it!

A clean and sorted RB midget is worth $2000 in my mind.

I think it's "worth" that too but in Michigan right now, nothing like that is selling for much, we're hemorrhaging over here.

Remember 1500 vs. 1275. That could make a big difference in what you are looking at as well.
