Hi,
just a quick word from a new member. I discovered the forums when searching for info on electronic ignition for my new car.

I recently bought a rebuilt 1973 BGT, which could be the twin of the 1972 BGT I used to own in the 70s. Mid-life crisis - what mid-life crisis?

You forget how it was to drive such cars, after driving round in air-conditioned automatics for the last few years.

Glad to be on board

Hi, Pete, and welcome!

Looks like your BGT was well cared for. Congratulations on the purchase!

Hello Pete and welcome to the forum. If this keeps up, you Brits are going to put the Colonists in the minority. Great looking BGT - your country's cars are the greatest. It's always good to see a well preserved specimen.
Good luck with the car.
Glenn

Pete - welcome....I'd love to see a rear view of your car & that spoiler...did you install it or was it there when you bought it?

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/banana.gif Very Nice!

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/savewave.gif Welcome to the forum.

Hi,
the spoiler was already fitted - it is well integrated with the car, and looks as though it was always meant to be there.
I will take and post a photo of the back if it ever stops raining here /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Pete

I know about your rain - its been pouring the entire time we've been in Heidelburg!

Welcome to the forum. Great GT you've got there.

I think that is the one that was offered through Moss-UK....can you still get it?
