I am hoping this weekend to install the new trailing arm
and re-install the entire passenger's side rear suspension
I removed to pull the T/A out.

I intend to replace all the fasteners with new. Since
almost all the bolts in the suspension are in shear, I am
going to install Grade 8s everywhere.

My question concerns nuts. Should I (A) install std nuts
with lock washers and loctite or (B) Nyloks and loctite?

thanks as always

I sure hope to be driving Crypty again by Sunday
Although installing the entire rear suspension
seems like a daunting task indeed for a novice.

Now if Uncle Sam's USPS would kindly deliver the T/A
I could get started.

Hi, again, Dale.

Never use lock washers on U-joint flanges. Use only grade-8 bolts and all-metal locking nuts, with red Loctite. I am not a fan of Nyloc nuts in high stress, spinning applications.

I concure.
