Another EBay Oversell job.....

Take a really close look at the leading edge of the headlamp panel in the front shot of the picture.
Also look closely at the wear on the pedals.

12,000 origonal miles my ass.

What a maroon.

9th made? The 9 is a check digit. I think I'm going to email this time.

I blew up the odometer, but can't read the first 2 digits. The last 3 are "294" though. If I had to guess, I'd say "40294" or maybe "48294".

The paint on the wiper arms is awefully worn out for 12,000 miles. The cancer on the driver's sill and the passenger headlight area seems fish. Missing the hood ornament, too. Driver's seat looks stained, kinda like water damage. The center console lid has the typical cracking at the front from too much weight on it, but I wouldn't expect that after 12,000 miles. All of the hubcap center caps seem to be missing, too.

Definitely another scam. Rich, you gonna hit it again? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Boy, you guys sure looked at it harder than I did /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif. I did notice the bumps on the front nose (a little hidden rust?). I blew up the interior shot, and those foot pedal pads sure look like more than 12K miles. That's also a serious tear/worn spot on the driver's seat. I would almost bet that the car has been turned over (112K).

I think I'll pass this time. Don't want this guy turning me into EBay for harassing him. But you guys can take your best shot. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Radford, the "post office specials" were all US surplus from WWI, most of them being S&W .45 revolvers, though I am sure they issued some 1917 Colts too. The S&W revolver was much more prevalent than the Colt, since most of Colt's pistol production during the first world war was devoted to the 1911 .45 auto.
