I realize that this is a nice car...but we all (ok some of us all) have nice cars.... I kinda think $45K is a little over the top for the market, isn't it?

I mean I think Jack's car is one of the nicest cars out here and this one doesn't come close to that...at least from my perspective...

45k is definitely over the top. Only the rarest on most pristine of the "big" Healeys command that kind of price.

I do think the market for the square Sprite and Midget will start trending upwards, as the BE market has started to do, but we're nowhere near $45,000. Most people who buy Spridgets aren't buying them for the investment quality....they want to have fun driving them. I know I didn't buy my '69 Sprite as an investment. I bought it to drive!
 
Ah, man...I think I lost about $40,000 when I sold our 69 Sprite! :smile: :smile:
 
This thing would have to have some sort of special provenance to get even HALF that. Maybe there is a bar of gold in the boot. :joyous:
