Just because a Belgium firm took over AB, don't expect them to change the formula. AB controls almost 50% of the US market. I don't think InBev will want to mess with that. All they want to do is increase the market share of AB worldwide. Then the rest of the world can taste the mediocre beer that we seem to love here.
BTW, I don't drink any beers produced by AB (although there is one good one that comes out once a year). My everyday beer is anything by Sierra Nevada. After that, the sky's the limit...up to and including the Trappist ales.
It would be good to have access to a few more of the Belgian brews on tap, such as Hoegaarden and Leffe. Nice stuff out of the barrel, seems to lose something in the bottling.
