"Angry B's"!!!

Wow. Monaco. Mr. Button is finally in a ride to allow his talent to show. Honda should be cryin' in their sushi. :smirk:

...and Alonso looked like he had his hands full toward the end, the Renault was skitterin' about waay too much. He did a remarkable job to finish, IMO.

Re: "Angry B's"!!!

Yup. I haven't followed much F1 much in the last couple of years. A couple of races ago I turned it on and was absolutely astonished to see team "Brawn". A lot of credit has been paid to Button, and rightfully so - but I don't think it's any accident that Brawn and Schumacher were together for so long as a winning team at Ferrari.

Re: "Angry B's"!!!

I've mentioned before, Button's happiness in the post race interviews really tells the tale. He's enjoying himself to the max.

Ross Brawn's departure from Ferrari followed by Ferrari's newfound capability of screwing up race strategies (full wets when it was'nt, not enough fuel added, etc.) says alot.

Re: "Angry B's"!!!

First time for a Brit to win from the pole there since Sir Jackie did it in 1972!!!

...and by the way, you can look forward to seeing the next several races on FOX - which means we get to see tape-delayed and edited broadcasts.

Sigh

Re: "Angry B's"!!!

I have watched several in the Speed Channel replay mode earlier this year anyway due to early starts or church choir commitments. Today I just overslept and missed the first few laps, so I will watch the replay on Speed at 5:30 pm this evening to see the start.
