And you thought Barrett-Jackson prices were high..

It looks to have late model TR6 engine in there, thankfully that kept the price down a little I bet..

I wouldn't pay over 2 million for it.

Hi Folks;

I just looked and The TR is "OFF THE MARKET"!!

Ebay says that there was an "ERROR" in the Opening Bid!

Probably "TOO LOW"; What do You think?

$2 MIl sounds like a Great Opening Bid to Me!

The gauge-meister thinks the gauges look pretty
sweet compared to the rest of the car. I'll buy
the oil pressure gauge.

Re: And you thought Barrett-Jackson prices were hi

I couldn't comment earlier because I was working on buying the car. It was in my "backyard" so to speak. Only 50 miles away, I picked it up this afternoon. From the pictures it looks pretty solid. Not so after I got there. Frame was pretty rotten. I was very close to walking away. Seller was nice enough so we came to an agreement. Basicly I got a serial number and a fair tub. So I have base to build from. Have horded some TR250 parts over the years so now you know "the rest of the story".

We all had a laugh at the first starting price...looks like you are going into this with your eyes open...good luck with a neat car!

Re: And you thought Barrett-Jackson prices were hi

Ratco sells brand new chassis's. They look pretty well built too.

I already have my eye on another TR250. Tub is not as good, most of the trim is there and hopefully it has a good frame. Did I mention it has overdrive. Hope to go get it next weekend.
