Decided to fix the stabilizer links on Kelly's clunky car. Last time I changed them they lasted about a week and they were supposed to be Moog top-of-the-line parts. This time I got the cheap Pep boys ones; well, they aren't made right. After fighting one for about two hours I concluded this isn't going to work and put the old one back on. I went online to see about getting my Moogs replaced under warranty only to find out I could have bought the PB cheapies online for $15 less than I paid over the counter with my commercial discount. I think I may be done with going to a store and just buy my stuff online now.
Seems EVERYTIME I try to fix something my "new" parts aren't up to snuff in any way shape or form. It's gotten so bad I almost refuse to work on anything anymore but what can you do?!...
