Congratulations!

It looks better than most I've seen come up for sale, and it is complete with all the hard to get hardware (though there may now be reproductions).

I'd say you did pretty good!

Well buy -the price are good- Very good for one European seller-aluminum seems very straight -the rear window are clear-the headliner in good conditions
this is the better point from the start
Now you can make only one strong clean and new painting and preserve the patina- Or make one complete more difficult rebuild-
here are a good useful source that I have followed: Lin Rose site
https://web.mac.com/linwoodrose/My_AH_3000_BT7_/Hardtop_Assembly.html
one of my hard work was to put inside the rear windows
my strong suggestion are :
if possible not move it from the H top

But this means that many works are impossible to do-the headliner and quarter panels- must be only cleaned in side (I used Chante Claire)it exit only from the rear

Hello @ all ,

thank you all for kind comments.Thank you Andrea for your informations.
Actually I didn`t see the hardtop in reality. I see also like you only the pictures.
I hope with paint and strong cleaning I get what I searched. I like some patina.
The damage in the paint,in the area of the side curve, can be in cause of hard not alligened mounting. I hope there are no cracks in the glasfiber.

So wait and see on coming weekend.

Bye Michel- who post from snowing Germany

Michel,

If you are looking for mounting parts, windows or sidescreens to re-condition your hardtop then have a talk to Pete Farmer in the UK. He makes repro hardtops and all the accessories and ships them around the world. In fact he makes hardtops for other famous companies who then brand them as their own make.

You can see his work here https://www.petefarmer.com/hardtops.htm. My car is the one at the bottom of the page.

His sidescreens are the best fitting ones I've come across as below
