I finally found time to view my Xmas present. Lots of info on bodywork and engine. I was a little disappointed to find out that he was restoring a 74B when the cover states it is a 73B restoration, close enough I guess. Overall it was very good and Mark Evans uses a fabulous sense of humour with his delivery of the program.
 
It was entertaining, but lacking a lot of information. It's a good way to pass the afternoon but not exactly a "how to".

That depends on how much information you have to start with. I've never seen the bowels of my B, and quite honestly, don't want to. So as an automotive newbie, it did shed light on some things and reveal what things are and what they look like.
I'd like to think it was 'more on my level' let's say. Sure there was tons left out, I agree.
kind of a Basics of MGB Anatomy class, not quite a 101.
 
I'll agree with that. Plenty of information, but lots of holes if you're trying to see how a restoration is accomplished. Still entertaining either way.
 
All of his shows have been like that. They're entertainment based, not a DIY how-to show.
