I had a 540td BMW once...great engine...its the same one that Lincoln bought from BMW for the Continental....I had to do some engine repairs to it once & went to the BMW dealer to get parts...parts manager told me the BMW prices & suggested I go to the Lincoln dealer...parts were about half the price...funny thing was, when I opened the Ford boxes there were BMW boxes inside!
