An Automatic Lotus - how sad

Yes too bad, but i'd still rather have an auto Lotus than a 5 speed Cavalier...

Sure, a manual would be better, sure there are better looking cars than the Eclat, but I'd take it in a heartbeat for a realistic price, and I think that one would be realistic. It looks solid and unmolested, which in today's world is a welcome change from "started restoration, lost interest."

I kind of like the look and with some TLC, that thing could be a real gem. It's a head turner, that's for sure.

BTW- I like the way that vendor provides information- more is better, and seems to want to make sure you any flaws up front.

I have owned a couple of Elites, and an Eclat is just one of them with a sloped roof.

Dynamically they are all lotus. The steering and handling and suspension control is fantastic.

That said, I don't want another one.

That is the worst shape I could have imagined for a lotus...Automatic for 3500 dollars..

I had a good laugh as I read this...

You'll go ape when you see this car. Destined to be a super collectible, classic car and appreciate in value. Styling and performance that were years ahead of its time. Still lots of fun to drive and turns heads wherever you go. Very rare automatic transmission. Nice shape...see "Condition" below for the details. Buy and resell...could even be a money maker for you. In many cases people have purchased a vehicle from us and resold it for a profit. Dealers from all over the country have bid on our cars, trucks and buses
