If you're gonna neuter a Lotus the Eclat is the best choice.

Sure, a manual would be better, sure there are better looking cars than the Eclat, but I'd take it in a heartbeat for a realistic price, and I think that one would be realistic. It looks solid and unmolested, which in today's world is a welcome change from "started restoration, lost interest."
I kind of like the look and with some TLC, that thing could be a real gem. It's a head turner, that's for sure.
BTW- I like the way that vendor provides information- more is better, and seems to want to make sure you any flaws up front.

That is the worst shape I could have imagined for a lotus...Automatic for 3500 dollars..

You'll go ape when you see this car. Destined to be a super collectible, classic car and appreciate in value. Styling and performance that were years ahead of its time. Still lots of fun to drive and turns heads wherever you go. Very rare automatic transmission. Nice shape...see "Condition" below for the details. Buy and resell...could even be a money maker for you.
