Someone suggested this in a previous discussion as a valve adjustment sequence instead of using "the rule of 9".
Set timing mark at TDC and check for closed valves. It comes in one of two sets: #'s 1 2 3 5.....and #'s 4 6 7 8
Now adjust the closed valve set.
Rotate the crank 360 degrees and adjust the new closed set.
Is this a workable method?
