American "Top Gear"?

Re: American "Top Gear"?

Sorry about bringing an old thread back...

I've been keeping track of Top Gear America via "FinalGear.com". So far, their information indicates that two of the presenters have been selected.

1) Tanner Foust, rally racer, drift racer, stunt driver, and performance car test driver. Here he is test driving 3 cars on Mulholland HWY in Malibu, CA on SuperCars Exposed. He kind of looks like "Hamster" sometimes to me...

2) Adam Corolla, comedian. Looks like a good counterpart for a Clarkson to me, as far as making unrelated analogies go anyways. Here he is test driving a Pontiac G8 on SpeedTV's "Test Drive" show

They're still working on the 3rd presenter.

I keep telling people it should be me, but nobody will listen.

Re: American "Top Gear"?

lol ... they haven't made any mention about having a "Stig" on the show. Of course, that doesn't mean they won't have one...

Re: American "Top Gear"?

One of my fav Stig moments was during the race across London. The Stig got on the tube, and saw the paper sitting there, and after reading the headline "Button Wins!", he threw it down in disgust.
